Would like to purchase fork lift attachments for loader, clamp on. Anyone know how they work, good, bad or ugly?

Where can I find them in Texas and how much should they cost?

I got my clamp on forks from one of the guys on the right hand side ---->

I found them to be great at moving logs, pallets, brush piles... I will someday weld them on to a separate frame for the loader without the bucket.

I have used bucket mounted forks on big and small machines, in fact my full-sized TLB (see my pic. # 3) has them built in to the bucket, you don't even have to take them off, they fold up and stow above the bucket when not in use.

As Art mentioned, they can be a real pain in the seat warmer if you don't have somebody around to help as a spotter for you since the bucket blocks your view of what you're trying to pick up.

On the big machine at least they pivot from the bucket top, so I can roll the bucket all the way to 'dump' then they hang below the bucket and I can see to guide them in, then curl the bucket back to pick it up.

On my little machine I made a combination bracket that includes forks (see my pic. # 18) in order to make it a little more user friendly for things like picking up logs, root balls, etc.

Best of luck. ....

We have a set that we can not seen to get rid of. If you are will to pay the shipping I am sure I can get you them pretty cheap. They are brand new and i am not sure how we came about acquiring them. If you are interested I will take a picture of them and post them for you. I am thinking they will cost about $100 to $150 plus shipping maybe less just to get rid of them. ....

Do you have a quick detach loader bucket? If you do I highly recommend spend a few hundred extra & getting the pallet forks that replace the bucket. You will also be able to lift more wieght with them ....

Peetersef; I had a set of home made ones for the bucket, but they had all the negatives the other guys mentioned. I got the regular Deere fork attachment for the 430 loader and it is a lot better deal. I use them in tight places where my regular forklift is to tall or too clumbsy to get into. Best of luck. Frank. ....
